Itinerary

Please note that all times are approximate and may vary slightly during the tour.

Day One – 04:20
Begin your day early and ideally take a packed breakfast. At 04:20, you will be picked up and depart for Volcanoes National Park, arriving just before 07:00 for registration. After check-in, a park guide will conduct a briefing, followed by the golden monkey trekking experience.

After the trek, check in at the hotel and enjoy lunch.

Afternoon & Evening
In the afternoon, visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Centre (now known as the Gorilla Guardians Village), then return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day Two – 06:00
Have an early breakfast and depart Musanze by 06:15 to reach the RDB Kinigi Tourist Information Centre for registration, in time for the 07:00 mountain gorilla trekking.

Following the trek, enjoy a late lunch at Migano Café, then travel back to Kigali, arriving in the evening.

End of Tour
Debriefing and drop-off.
