Itinerary Overview
Timing is for guidance and may slightly vary during the tour.
04:20 AM – Wake up early and ideally request a takeaway breakfast from your hotel. Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel, residence in Kigali, or directly from Kigali International Airport.
04:30 AM – Depart with your packed breakfast and travel northwest to reach Volcanoes National Park shortly before 07:00 AM. Upon arrival, proceed with registration at the park headquarters.
07:00 AM – You’ll be assigned a professional park guide, receive a briefing, and then depart for your chosen activity within Volcanoes National Park (e.g., gorilla trekking, golden monkey tracking, or hiking).
Afternoon – Enjoy lunch (can be arranged in Musanze or as a picnic), then begin the return journey to Kigali.
Evening – Arrival in Kigali. End of tour, debriefing, and drop-off at your hotel or preferred location
